ME!

As a goal-oriented and self-driven events professional, it excites me every single time to see a project comes to live after months or years of planning. My career experience and skills have grown from my immense interest and passion towards the events and creative industry. I love strategy planning, creative brainstorming, events coordination and team management.

I entered the workforce since 2019 and have been enjoying all the challenges and learning curve that I gained thus far. I loved how every skill sets that I have picked up from different roles and tasks have help me to explore possibilities and understand that the sky's the limit. I believe there is always something new to learn when I'm out of my comfort zone, especially as a young practitioner within the industry.

I'm often described by the people around me as an outgoing person who always leaves my trail of creative ideas and insanity everywhere I go. If you don't see me in the office, you'll probably find me at a campground, beach or lifting my dumbbells at home!

EVENTS PLANNING

Well equipped with events planning and coordination skills including onsite and behind the scenes delivery through various experiences.

MARKETING

Continual growth and learnings within the digital marketing field, have experience in events marketing. Certified by Google Digital Garage in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing.

TEAM LEADING

Had experience in supervising the daily operations of a retail store. Currently managing and leading two teams of permanent volunteers.

High-quality customer service and client management skills gained and accumulated from working in the tertiary sector since 17.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Project Assistant

JAN 2019 - JULY 2020

Started as an intern and was offered a full-time position in an award-winning PCO (Professional Conference Organiser). Support the conference project team in planning and delivery large-scale conferences, included:

Supporting Project Managers through conference and program management and on-site operational logistics as per project timelines;
Complete all administration tasks including updating of databases, preparing meeting agendas, researching new suppliers and updating project plans;
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in professional manner;
Develop and implement conference marketing strategy and content.
Equipped and trained to use several events related to softwares and tech products.

AUG 2020 - CURRENT

Manages all Hope Church Brisbane annual events and coordinate media related matters. Lead and support two teams of volunteers. Responsibilities included:

Work closely with the Pastors and Division Leader of Hope Church Brisbane to define event goals, objectives and outcomes strategically;
Lead the events team to plan, design, manage and evaluate events.
Monitor and manage budget.
Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments and key suppliers.
Lead and work closely with the media team (graphic designers, videographers, photographers) to coordinate creative elements in services and events programs.

HOKKAIDO BAKED CHEESE TART Store Supervisor

DEC 2017 - APRIL 2019

Started as a service staff and eventually promoted as a team leader. Support the Operations Manager on supervising the store's day to day operation. Responsibilities included:

Arranging weekly roster and tasks delegation to team members;
Report to the Operations Manager based in Melbourne HQ directly;
Arranging stock deliveries and complete stocktakes, in-charged of inventory management;
Manage communications between management team and service crew members;
Manage staff recruitments and training.

GRAPHIC DESIGN CREATIVE WORKS

"The act of creation - a visual language so impactful, it carries & conveys the perfect message." I believe in the power of visual communication in today's world, which the ability to communicate visually is no longer be seen as optional. This has inevitably led me to explore visual communication designs. I love designing visual appealing proposals and social media images. I took the initiative to self learn Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, hence possessed some basic skills on both software. Besides that, I have been using Canva templates to design simple graphics for 7 years. Please see my creative works below.
